Metzorah (Lev. 14:1-15:33)

In this weeks’ exciting episode, we read about the different ways in which people (and houses, apparently) become ritually impure. The connection is often made between tzaarat – a physical condition for which a cure is never stated, it simply goes away (or not) after a period of time. And only Priests are able to assess whether or not a person has tzaarat, and whether or not it is gone. &# 8211; and lashon hora. Even the sacrifice that the afflicted person brings (two birds) is reminiscent of the chattering of people gossiping.

SO limited only by your creativity and the category of food which you will be assigned (when you tell us you are coming), please bring a food that someone has told you about.
